Data Deletion – Spectral Vision

Applies to the Android app “Spectral Vision” (com.bogglingbrain.spectralvision) · See also the privacy policy
The short version: Spectral Vision has no accounts and no servers. Every piece of data the game creates – your journal, captured thumbnails, settings, world history – is stored only on your device, under your control. Deleting it is immediate, complete, and requires no request to us, because we never had your data in the first place.

How to delete your data

Option 1 – Delete everything, in-app.
Open Spectral Vision → SettingsPurge Archive. This permanently removes all journal entries and their stored images. Settings can be reset by toggling them; the game’s world history clears with the archive.
Option 2 – Delete a single journal entry.
Removing an entry from your Field Journal also deletes its stored thumbnail image from your device.
Option 3 – Uninstall the app.
Uninstalling Spectral Vision removes the app and all of its data from your device. Nothing remains anywhere else – there is no cloud copy, no backup on our side, and no account to close.

Retention

We retain nothing, so there is no retention period. Deletion on your device is effective the moment you perform it.
